Recently, some new technology has emerged, with Xbox Kinect and now something called Leap Motion. Mr. Henn will show you a video that displays some of the capabilities.

It could be used for easy, controlled work like designers for example. Video games could be used with better motion and more fun and cool seeming. You could use it while say your in medical school and that's how you could practice gaining a steady hand if you would like to be a surgeon. Video game creators would have easier work and actually make the characters move the exact way that they want it. Teachers might have more attention from their students by using this while teaching.

i think this would work well in music classes, or as a cheaper option for school who cant afford the real instrument. same could go for aspiring musicians. another thing it could be used for is art, too teach 3d design, or an alternative to the regular art materials. these could be used for class presentations. kinect xbox has been out for two years, and is nothing new to gaming, we've seen what it can do, but i don't think it has reached its potential. i have a xbox kinect myself, and as a gamer, i am not pleased with the games, and i know that game creators already use this technology, but its still a young technology, so yeah. lastly, doctors could use it to visualize body parts that they dont have access to, or to use as practice.
